REST IN PEACE, BELOVED BOY
Ruffi came to Golden Oldies June 14, 2019 when he was 11 years old, leaving his lifelong best buddy behind. Ruffi’s guardian moved into an assisted living home and could not take Ruffi with him.
The gentle-natured and handsome boy captured all of our hearts with his quick purr and sweet disposition. With striking yellow eyes and a bushy black tail, Ruffi was a kitty who loved to watch the world from the safety of a window and nap in his human’s lap. He also loved nothing better than a dish of Fancy Feast cat food, being combed and brushed, perching in his cat tree and sleeping in his heated cat bed.
Ruffi was one spoiled cat, as it should be.
Ruffi was diagnosed with terminal cancer less than two weeks after he joined the Golden Oldies family. He had a large tumor under his tongue and fluid was building up in his lungs.
No one wanted Ruffi to suffer so after consulting with his former guardian we made the difficult decision to have him euthanized. His former guardian, who took in Ruffi when he was 6 weeks old, was by his side as he crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
Happy Tails across that Rainbow Bridge, Ruffi.
