College Boys!
Golden Oldies adopted Cats Deacon and River went to college … for the fourth time.
Golden Oldies Cat Rescue adopted cats River and Deacon visited staff and students at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies last month. It was both finals week AND Wellness Week and the cats were on a mission: be their purr-fectly cute selves to de-stress the students. It worked!
Students doled out lots of pets, cuddles and brushing and hovered like paparazzi as the cats soaked it all up and dished out purrs. This is a community service Golden Oldies provides if it has cats who do well in these situations (sometimes older cats do not!).
The visits are a small way Golden Oldies can give back to a community who has given so much to us!
