College Boys!
Golden Oldies adopted Cats Beau, Deacon, and River went to college … again.
The three visited with students at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey November 21 during Wellness Week and again December 4 during finals week. It was part of an effort to help de-stress students.
And that they did, accepting cuddles, pets, gentle brushing and adoration while dishing out purrs.
Beau, a 14-year-old orange tabby, and Deacon, a 14-year-old with lots of gray fluff, have visited MIIS four times. River, a 10-year-old who was found blind and abandoned under a bridge before coming to Golden Oldies, has been to MIIS three times.
The visits are a small way Golden Oldies can give back to a community who has given so much to us!
