Hooray! Our big lug of love and super 17-year-old senior Biggy found his ‘dude’ match April 6th.
Biggy spent just 30 days in foster care after coming to us from San Jose Animal Care Services where he was being overlooked for adoption. While in foster in Carmel Valley, Biggy trimmed down from almost 20 pounds to a svelte 16 under the care of foster mom Anne.
Biggy’s new dad, Tim, saw his online profile and fell in love.
Tim and Biggy — AKA Mr. Big — are going to be retired bachelors together, keeping each other company on the sunny side of Pacific Grove. Tim is going to continue to help Biggy with his waistline. Biggy has a large front window for taking in the sun and watching hummingbirds at the feeder outside.
Tim has even made a cozy place in the closet for his new feline buddy (a favorite hangout spot of Biggy’s) so he can feel safe while he adjusts to his new life.
Thank you to Jen for transporting this hunky boy from San Jose Animal Care Services to our experienced foster, Anne. And thank you, Anne, for working with Mr. Big on his weight loss while he waited for Tim to find him. Thank you also to San Jose Animal Care Services for advocating for this overlooked mellow guy
Biggy is our third adoption in two days, our 14th this year and our 94th since we were founded in June 2016.
Happy Tails, Biggy and Tim!
