Golden Oldies Cat Rescue’s very first Mad Catter Tea Party was a purr-fectly wild success—and we’re still feline the love!

With nearly 100 guests and volunteers in attendance, our sold-out celebration brought together a dazzling crowd of compassionate cat lovers, all united by one mission: saving the lives of Monterey County’s older cats. From towering top hats to delicate fascinators, the fashion was as fabulous as the cause—and the silent auction? Every item went home with very happy successful bidders!

Whether you came as a Queen of Hearts, a Mad Hatter, or simply with a heart full of kindness, you made this madcap dream a reality. We’re endlessly grateful to our generous sponsors, tireless volunteers, and every single attendee who showed up with joy, camaraderie, and generosity.

Thanks to you and your open hearts, more Golden Oldies cats will find the love and comfort they deserve.
