Tara, who lives in Agoura Hills, is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Veterinary Specialist. She owns (and operates) APEX Veterinary Internal Medicine, a mobile consulting practice that offers ultrasounds and gastrointestinal endoscopy services. Her practice serves the San Fernando Valley, Conejo Valley and the Greater Los Angeles Areas.
Tara has volunteered as a medical consultant for Golden Oldies since 2018. She reviews medical records for potential intakes and cats in foster care.
Tara, who moved to Monterey from the Los Angeles Area in 2014 to work at a specialty hospital, discovered Golden Oldies a few years later and began volunteering. With a desire to give back to the community, she also spent time as a volunteer for Animal Friends Rescue Project and a veterinary internal medicine college.
Despite moving to Agoura Hills in July 2020, Tara has remained active with Golden Oldies.
Tara has had cats since she was young and has always enjoyed working with feline patients during her veterinary career.
She lives with her husband, rabbits, cats and an angry chinchilla and is thrilled to be able to help older felines find new homes.
