Riley grew up in Georgia and received her business degree from Kennesaw State University in 2021. While in college, she volunteered with the Cherokee County Humane society, where she grew to love helping cats in need by giving of her time to rescues.
In 2023 Riley moved to the Monterey Peninsula with her fiancé, who is in the military. Soon after arriving, she discovered Golden Oldies Cat Rescue and started volunteering.
Riley has always had a soft spot for older cats, and when she arrived on the Peninsula she was excited to find a rescue that helps this age group.
Despite relocating to Maryland in 2024 with her fiancé (now her husband), Riley is so enamored with helping older cats she continues to volunteer for Golden Oldies.
Riley leads the social media team, focusing on creating posts for Facebook and Instagram. She also is part of the Golden Oldies video editing team.
Riley has two rescue cats and plans to adopt more in the future.
In her free time she enjoys vintage shopping, learning yoga, and relaxing hikes.
