Jeannie is a long-time resident of Monterey, having moved here as a child in 1956. She has always had cats.
Jeannie did not have feline-centric jobs. She worked in publishing for over 50 years in advertising, graphic design, and page layout. She was also manager of an Art and Production department during that time, as well as a technical writer and trainer.
For a second career, she worked in construction for over 11 years as a Project Engineer, Green Building Analyst, and as a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional).
Now retired, Jeannie lives with 2 cats. She has also lived with dogs, horses, cattle, a stray sheep, and a borrowed goat whose owner refused to take it back.
