Brenda moved to the Monterey Peninsula in 2011 to study mathematics at CSUMB and graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in 2015. She has always loved cats and has had them around from a young age. She currently lives in Salinas with her six rescue cats that she loves dearly.
As cats have always provided a steady and loving companionship to Brenda, it was an easy decision to volunteer for Golden Oldies Cat Rescue. She is happy to return the favor by helping in any way she can. Brenda is the current Volunteer Coordinator and enjoys meeting all the like-minded cat people of Monterey County.
She currently works as an accountant but aspires to continue her education by getting a Masters of Data Science. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, swimming, reading, and baking tasty treats for friends and co-workers.
