Brenda moved to the Monterey Peninsula in 2011 to study mathematics at CSUMB. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in 2015. In 2021, Brenda moved to Southern California, where she earned a Master’s Degree in Data Science from UC-Irvine. Brenda continues to volunteer for Golden Oldies as a data extraction expert and the lead designer of e-newsletters.
Brenda has always loved cats and has had them around from a young age. She currently has six rescue cats that she loves dearly.
As cats have always provided a steady and loving companionship to Brenda, it was an easy decision to volunteer for Golden Oldies Cat Rescue. She is happy to return the favor by helping in any way she can.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, swimming, reading, and baking tasty treats for friends and co-workers.
