Anke Richter is a retired professor from the Defense Resource Management Institute at the Naval Postgraduate School where she worked for over 22 years. Her main work focus has been the use of operations research, applying it to both financial questions as well as health issues. While English is Dr. Richter’s first language, she is also fluent in German and French.
Anke has two tuxedo cats, Puck and Oberon, who are currently 14(ish), and constantly remind her how wonderful it is to have older kitties. However, they are adamant that they remain the only kitties in the house by marking anything (such as envelopes, checks, shoes, etc.) that smells of other cats.
Being newly retired, Anke is looking forward to travelling abroad and volunteering in her community for the coming years.
