I found Stella wandering my old neighborhood a year ago in San Diego. She was abandoned by her owner after being a house cat for seven years. I was able to contact the previous owner through microchipping and confirmed her history. She has been a house cat again for all of 2023 while being well taken care of, with regular veterinarian visits (spayed and vaccines) and feeding.
Stella has a sensitive stomach, requiring that she doesn’t eat chicken to keep her feeling her best. Despite this, she remains a sweet and gentle soul who appreciates the simple joys of life. She may not be one for high jumps or extensive handling, but her affectionate nature shines through in quieter moments. Two things that bring her real joy are any birds nearby or a laser pointer.
