Sophie, a pretty short haired calico, is approximately 7-8 years old. She was adopted from the city shelter as a young adult so is spayed and microchipped. She is a 100% indoor cat. She has weight issues, so she needs a home where her access to food is controlled. She started life as a stray, so she is easily startled.
She can be touched on her head and likes a good cheek scratch, but does not like to be touched anywhere else. She loves to play and will run and jump for a dangle toy. She is quiet, but will meow to let you know she’s hungry or wants to play. She is quirky and funny. Given the attention she needs, she will blossom. Once she trusts you, she can be a lap cat. Sophie lives in San Jose and needs a new home, as her guardian passed away.
