Sophie is a very sweet lady. Almost 15, but doesn’t look or act her age. She was our parent’s cat and after their passing, we took her in.
We were hopeful that we could integrate her into our existing family (3 cats, 2 5-year-old girls and a 1-year-old boy), but she is having none of it. She really needs to be the only cat in the household.
She came from country life and was an avid outdoorswoman in her younger years, but now enjoys a good lap, regular meals and the assurance that her person loves her and won’t leave.
At some point in her wild youth, she had an ear infection which caused her to have a very cute head tilt. We have brought her to our vet for a thorough checkup and the tilt is now part of who she is, but other than cute, it’s not concerning.
We also made sure she had a full blood work up and dental done so she’s looking and feeling her best for the next stage of her life’s adventure. Sophie is up to date on all vaccinations, and we can provide all medical records.
Since we have had her, she’s touched hearts and lifted spirits. She’s truly a special girl.
