A definite senior citizen, Snickers came to Golden Oldies in June 2017 at age 16 ½ after his guardian passed away.
He was placed in a foster home, and the happily-ever-after began. By the end of his first full weekend in his foster home “he’s all over the house and he owns it,” says Snickers’ foster mom, Sue. Sue and her husband became so enamored of the sweet Maine Coon that they adopted him. “He is full of personality and he loves to talk.”
Snickers’ guardian’s daughter, who worked to place him with Golden Oldies says, “It makes me so happy to see these pictures; it’s been a long month between memorial for my mom and packing up her apartment. Finding Snickers a home was by far the best … you people are amazing and I will not stop telling people that, and I’m really happy that you still let me know how he’s doing; that eases my heart … thank you once again.”
