Hello! My name is Sephira. My name is pronounced Seh -fear- uh.
I am a very sweet, affectionate, and silly 6-year-old girl. I am an indoor kitty who enjoys access to a safely-confined outdoor space.
It’s going to take me awhile to adjust to a new home, so I ask for your patience. Please give me the time and space I need and I will ultimately reward you. I promise that I will blossom in a quiet home with no other animals. Other animals scare me and no kitty wants to live in fear.
I came to Golden Oldies at the end of May 2020 when my guardian could no longer care for me. I was adopted 10 days later! While my new human parents were totally cool … we youngsters would say they were “RAD,” it just did not work out for me. They had an elderly dog and another cat and I just felt so nervous all the time. Because they are good people and wanted what was best for me, they decided they should give me up.
However, that does not mean they gave me away! They are fostering me until I move on to my forever home. Because that’s how much they love me, and they don’t want me to be bounced from home to home.
So now I am awaiting that perfect forever family. When I say perfect, what I would like is to live where there are no other cats and no dogs. A lizard might be okay, though I might make a meal of it if I catch it. A snake? EEEEEK, absolutely not! Maybe a tortoise would be okay. Goldfish I could handle. But certainly not a bear. Okay, you get the picture. I just want to be your ONE AND ONLY!
My favorite things to do are sunbathe and chatter at birds from a safe location. I know how to play without using my claws and my former mom taught me not to bite hard. I am quite rambunctious, love to race around the house and “play tag” with you.
I am spayed, up to date on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, microchipped, FIV/FELV negative and have had a complete blood panel done.
If you would like to meet me, please fill out an online application.
