Calm and gentle, Sammy was adopted from Golden Oldies Cat Rescue just a year and half ago when his previous guardian was moving overseas. Now poor Sammy just recently lost his loving owner quite unexpectedly. Luckily Golden Oldies is here for Sammy when he needs us the most.
Seven year old Sammy needs a quiet indoor home, one that can hopefully encourage him to lose some of his 18 pounds, so he can have a longer, healthier life. He has always been the only cat in the home and might prefer to keep it that way. We are not sure how he is with other cats. He may tolerate a mellow dog and respectful children.
When Sammy adjusts to a new home, he will make his way onto your lap for some cuddles. He is a long-legged, long-bodied boy who can be playful at times and also enjoys sitting in the window watching the world go by outside.

All Golden Oldies cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, microchipped, FIV/FELV negative and have had a complete blood panel done.
