Sami and Dean are a bonded pair who have lived together with one owner since they were kittens. Their human dad recently died unexpectedly, leaving these two in need of a home.
Sami is a beautiful short-haired midnight black spayed female. She is about 16 years old. And weighs about 13 pounds.
Dean is a handsome medium-haired gray and white neutered male. He is about 15 years old and weighs about 8 pounds.
They are indoor-only cats and are in Campbell, CA.
Sami and Dean have been around other cats but have no experience with dogs or children.
Both cats are up to date on FVRCP and rabies vaccines and microchipped. They just had vet visits in August.
Sami is very relaxed. She’s a chill girl who rules the roost and has no qualms about standing her ground when Dean takes things too far while playing. She’s the boss and puts her “little brother” in his place when needed! Sami is always ready to welcome a meal or snack headed her way. Her favorite pastime — other than eating and lounging — is using a scratching post. She is on prednisolone for chronic nasal discharge/sinusitis and methimazole for an overactive thyroid; she takes her pills easily when they are crushed and put in her wet food.
Dean is a spunky dude and plays like he is 5 years old, not 15! He likes toys that move and grab his attention so he can show off his hunting prowess. And like all good hunters, he’s always ready for a meal or treats after capturing his prey. Dean also likes to chat to his humans about exactly how cool he is and ask for what he wants. And when he meets new humans, his greeting always includes smelling their breath and skin. It’s his way of saying, “Hello, how ya’ doing? I’m Dean and I’m pleased to meet ya!”
These two kitties have lost their best human friend in their Golden Years and need a special someone to help them heal.
Maybe that’s you?
