Oscar and Felix (see separate entry) are two affectionate 9-year-old, bonded siblings who need to stay together in a new home. A family member has developed allergies to the cats.
The two look very similar – they ARE brothers, after all. Oscar is the more orange of the two and the larger guy weighing about 14.5 lbs. Both are short-haired. They are indoor-outdoor cats and great with children. They are currently living in a foster home with other cats and small dogs. They are used to having people at home with them much of the time and love attention from their human companions.
Oscar likes to cuddle but also enjoys his independence. He is very social and curious, and always wants to check out what you are doing. His favorite thing to do is go up a cat tree or play with his brother. He likes to put his cute freckled nose on your nose, sometimes sleep next to you, and sometimes even enjoys belly rubs. Oscar can make you laugh, make your heart melt and make you say “Awwww”.
Felix is graceful, elegant and classy. He’s also a love bug who will sleep on you, with you, or next to you. He is a great lap kitty who just loves to snuggle. He is very docile, but skittish around loud noises or sudden movements. He can tell time and will let you know when dinner should be served.
It’s important to keep these boys on a mostly wet food diet and to feed them discreet meals in order for them to maintain a healthy weight.
Neither cat has ever sprayed in the house and both are used to having their nails trimmed – and getting a treat afterwards for being such good boys! They enjoy having a cat tree and relaxing in the sun on a patio. They go outdoors, but don’t go far.
Whoever adopts these two kitties will be getting pretty much perfect cats.
