Oliver Tweed is an 11 ½ year-old, 13 ½ pound grey tabby named for his handsome tweed-like fur. His lifelong guardian is moving and cannot take him along. He is living in Monterey, CA while being evaluated for Golden Oldies.
Known as Ollie — and affectionately nicknamed “Cream Puff” – he’s a pretty adaptable and easygoing kitty. Ollie is front-paw declawed. He has spent his life as an indoor-outdoor kitty (out during the day, in at night). He gets along with dogs who ignore him and other cats. He has not been around children, so it’s hard to say how he would do with youngsters.
Ollie is quite the talker and a very sweet, affectionate and docile cat who seems to enjoy the quiet life. He is a snuggler and loves to use his paws to knead (we like to call it making “paw cookies”), while he sits on his person’s lap. He likes to be picked up and carried and often delivers head butts at the same time!
Ollie does need to lose some weight so transitioning him to a wet-food diet would be ideal.
