Melanie is a pretty 13-year-old, 11-pound orange and white tabby who was found wandering the streets of San Jose.
She was brought to the San Jose Animal Care Center January 21st. Golden Oldies brought her into our program January 30th and Melanie immediately made herself comfortable in her Carmel foster home. She slept with her foster mom her very first night and crawls into her lap. She has been exploring her new home and has given the windows her seal of approval as a great place to watch the outdoors.
Melanie’s foster mom says she is nothing but sweet – not a mean bone in her body. She’s very quiet and shows no interest in going outside. Melanie loves to be petted and brushed.
Melanie will need some dental care, which Golden Oldies is taking care of.
And then she will be ready for a forever home. Maybe that’s with you?
All Golden Oldies cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, microchipped, FIV/FELV negative and have had a complete blood panel done.
If you would like to meet Melanie, please fill out an adoption application.
THANK YOU TO THE SAN JOSE ANIMAL CARE CENTER FOR PROVIDING $500 TOWARD MELANIE’S DENTAL CARE THROUGH THEIR GUARDIAN ANGEL PROGRAM!
