Jack is a 12-year-old white-and-orange boy who needs a new home. He is living in Los Angeles, CA.
Jack is an Indoor-only cat. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and FIV/FELV tested.
This boy is not aggressive or pushy. He is very curious and independent but seeks out attention throughout the day. He likes to nap next to his person. This is a kitty with a mellow personality who wouldn’t hurt a flea – he stares at bugs but does not hunt them!
Jack needs to find his new forever home as soon as possible.
His first guardian got married and her new husband was allergic to cats; he also has a cat-aggressive dog. So Jack went to live with his former guardian’s mom. Then she lost her home so Jack went back to live with his first guardian. It’s not working, The dog goes crazy just hearing Jack from another room. The home is so small that Jack spends all day in a bedroom; he spend nights in the living room away from the dog. His guardian spends some time with him so he gets love, but feels so bad that he has to be locked away. He cries at night for some attention and then the dog goes ballistic.
Jack lived for much of his life with his cat sister. He has been with a 2-year-old child and is fine unless cornered.
