Seeking a loving Cat Person to adopt our cat, six year old Izzie. My daughter and I had to vacate our apartment in January due to mold and have been staying with my parents, who cannot have a cat. I’ve been going every other day to feed and spend time with her. I had hoped we would have found a new permanent home by now but it hasn’t happened yet, and now we have to vacate the old apartment.
Izzie, whom we affectionately call Miss Izzie Bizzleton, or Miss Bizzleton, The Bizz, or Bizzle, grew up in a home that had a home daycare so she was always around children and was always fine with all sorts of people around. I believe the mold affected her, and she’s become both sensitive to foods (she has to have special food, as well as a gel that helps lubricate her system to not throw up, if she has that she’s fine) and to people. She’s just very particular and when I’ve had other people go feed her or look in on her recently, she basically hides.
I feel so sad for her; she is lonely. I am hoping to find a kind soul that would be able to adopt her, permanently or possibly temporarily until we can find a permanent place. I’m hoping a kind woman with an affinity towards cats in trouble might be able to help. I say woman because she’s always lived with myself and my daughter and while she’s been around men, she’s always been cared for by females. Izzie is currently in Corral De Tierra.
Please contact me if you are able to help with Izzy!
