Honey Pi’s long-time guardian passed away recently and now HP is missing having her own special person(s) and her own home.
She is an 11-year-old short-haired black & white cat who loves belly rubs when she is comfortable. She is used to being talked to like a real person and is very sensitive to her surroundings and her person. Her home provided a calm, quiet, peaceful environment and Honey Pi enjoyed that. She does not do well with children but can handle calm animals and people.
This kitty can be shy at first but once she connects with her human she is a lap cat. She’s an indoor-only girl. If she gets scared, she will sleep in the back of a closet or under the bedspread at the foot of a bed. She likes to eat her kitty grass, use her scratching post, and have Greenies to enjoy. Her foster calls Honey Pi “the buddha cat” and says “Honey Pi is a lovely girl, by the way. She really is a true love bug and she loves to chat with people, in a good way.”
At this point in her life, Honey Pi doesn’t like to have to jump, or go up/down very many stairs… but with some assistance, she would love to get up on a bed and sleep. She was recently diagnosed with mild arthritis and has an odd gate when she walks due to an anterior cruciate tear that she experienced about 5 years ago But none of that affects her positive attitude and loving nature.
It would be hard to find a sweeter cat than this girl..
