Homer is a 10-year-old, short-haired buff orange tabby whose guardian has moved and could not take him along.
He is an affectionate boy who will be happy to see you, come and visit with you and talk to you. He has a sweet little voice. If you sit on the floor and encourage him to come over, he will circle you and rub against you and let you pet him all over, but he does not like to be picked up and is not a lap cat. He does enjoy being brushed.
This handsome guy has been indoor-only and has not been around children. He appears to be fine with dogs as long as they ignore him (he has been around a large dog), and he gets along with his foster’s cats. He loves people and loves to explore the house.
Life hasn’t always been easy for him. He needs an adopter who’s willing to let him settle in and set his own pace of adjustment. With a lovely disposition, Homer is a super sweet boy once he feels safe and relaxed and trusts that his home is a calm place where “his” people are going to care for him. Can you give him the new beginning he’s looking for?
