Meet beautiful Fluffy. She found us 6 years ago and has transformed from a nervous scared kitty, living on the roof, to an adorable, affectionate cat living on the outside sofa! We are moving back to the UK and simply could not put her through the stress, noise and confinement of a crate for that length of time (over 22 hours door to door) and have decided we need to find her a loving home. We know she has been spayed as her ear has been clipped – normal practice for stray catch-and-release kittens.
We started feeding her a little each day and now she knows the routine down to the minute and is ready waiting at the back door for her morning feed, and meows for her afternoon snack. She is still a little skittish and will run if anyone makes a fast move or makes a loud noise but will come and sit on our lap, allow us to brush her, and generally wants to be around someone all day. She pops her head in the house and will stroll in and explore but runs out again if there is a noise or sudden movement.
We are looking for someone who does not have dogs (although our little rescue terrier who came after Fluffy will lick her face and she is totally comfortable with him) or cats, and who has the patience to gain her trust. We have been told that she will need to be kept indoors for about 4-6 weeks to prevent her from trying to get back to her home here with us.
