Fiona is a 16-year-old long-haired torti whose guardian passed away, leaving her in need of a new home. She lived with three other cats, who all were placed in new homes.
Fiona is very shy and needs a quiet adult-only home with no dogs. Other cats would be fine, though she tends to keep to herself. Her spot of choice is under the bed. Sudden movements will cause her to run and hide.
Once Fiona is comfortable with you, she will come out, usually in the evening, and hang out in the room with you but not too close. She usually sits on the cat tree or on the back of the couch opposite of where you are sitting. She does seem to like it when you talk to her but does not like quick movements.
She has had most, if not all, of her teeth removed but is able to eat wet and dry food just fine and she loves her water fountain. She likes to use the cat tree’s scratching post.
Fiona came to Golden Oldies March 25, 2021. She was our 100th cat to come in.
All Golden Oldies cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, microchipped, FIV/FELV negative and have had a complete blood panel done.
