Adopt Dixie, a beautiful dilute orange female
Dixie is an indoor only cat and an only pet since she was adopted 8 years ago.
Very sweet and inquisitive, Dixie is also very shy and skittish. She cuddles after a fashion. She likes to press the top of her head against you when you are sitting on the couch or lying in bed. If the latter she will lie on top of one arm. Due to her shyness it takes time for her to warm up to strangers. Dixie had been at the SPCA for over 6 months before she decided to throw herself against my mother’s legs at the meet and greet.
She loves to be chased, play with her favorite balls, and loves her wand toy. Dixie also loves ear rubs, scritches on her back (she has involuntary elevator butt), and massages with the blue grooming glove. She is a fiend for Temptations.
Both of her parents have now passed, and she needs a foster or new home by the end of September at the latest. She currently resides in Santa Cruz. Dixie visited the vet last month and received a clean bill of health.
