Debonair Dash is a very sweet but initially shy 14 year gentleman of a cat, a short-haired tuxedo boy who weighs about 10 pounds. He is an indoor-only cat.
His guardian, who adopted Dash as a kitten, went into a care facility last year and Dash went into temporary foster with a family friend in Campbell. Now he is in a Golden Oldies foster home waiting for that special someone to fall in love with him.
Having lived with just one person until now, Dash is used to the quiet life. He would do best in a home where he is an only pet although he is getting along with the other male cat in his foster home. He is afraid of dogs, even friendly ones and therefore a dog free home would be best.
Dash typically comes looking for love in the morning and evening. Once he warms up to you he cannot get enough of head rubs and is a purr machine. He loves to be brushed but does not like to be picked up. Dash recently had his teeth cleaned and is in good health. He does eat a special diet that we can discuss with any adopters.
All Golden Oldies cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, microchipped, FIV/FELV negative and have had a complete blood panel done.
