Cheeto and Sophia, a brother and sister pair
Cheeto and Sophia are brother and sister cats originally born in Texas. They are ten years old. Sophia is a short-haired female calico and Cheeto is a short-haired male orange tabby. They are well-traveled cats who moved to Virginia, Iowa and California. They are good with kids and dogs. The cats were unable to accompany their family on the next move out of the country.
Cheeto and Sophia are indoor-only cats, but would love the opportunity to be outside in a safe place where they can’t wander off. They both enjoy lying in front of the window and watching the world go by. Whether you’re working from home or watching TV on the couch, Cheeto loves to curl up on your lap. Sophia prefers to nap next to you or on a blanket nearby. You’ll also find her curled up under blankets and bed sheets. Both are very friendly, inquisitive cats, but can be shy around new people. Cheeto loves to eat and will meow when it’s time for a meal. They are fed wet food twice a day and receive a snack of dry food before bed. We don’t know how they might behave around other cats, but they did get along with the medium size dog in their previous home.
They are healthy cats. Cheeto needed to have his left eye removed due to complications from glaucoma but his other eye is fine and he has adjusted well.
They currently are being fostered in Aptos, CA.
All Golden Oldies cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, microchipped, FIV/FELV negative and have had a complete blood panel done.
