Casper is a 9-year-old short-haired orange and white boy who needs a new home.
As a kitten he was very boisterous and active, but as a mature adult he’s generally pretty sedate.
He’s very adamant about being an indoor/outdoor cat. Outside, he’s very sociable with neighbors and people passing by. When he lived at a home with a picket fence, he would sit on the top rail and wait for admirers to walk by and lavish him with attention.
He has been living with an older female cat since he was a kitten. They tolerate each other but are not particularly bonded. He appreciates being able to snuggle alongside someone in the evening. Casper appreciates attention from people of all ages. He is okay with small respectful dogs but will run from larger dogs.
While living in his foster home, Casper has been making do by watching birds and squirrels out the window. He made a few requests to go outside, but so far has not tried to sneak out. He also enjoys passing the time with catnip toys and twisted pipe cleaners.
He likes to drink water from a glass — especially YOUR glass. Think you can put a coaster on top of your glass to protect it ? Ha ha, he accepts the challenge.
All Golden Oldies cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, microchipped, FIV/FELV negative and have had a complete blood panel done.
If you are interested in Casper, please fill out an adoption application.
