Hi, my name is Bones. I’m a 6-year-old 12-pound handsome boy who needs a forever home. I have sleek black fur, big golden eyes and I’m polydactyl (have extra toes on my front feet.)
I was found as a stray on Postwood Drive in San Jose and taken to San Jose Animal Care Services. They pulled six of my teeth and cleaned the rest and then I went into a Golden Oldies Cat Rescue foster home. On day one I started adjusting to my new human and home – used the litter box, had something to eat and let my foster pet me. Of course I also had to find safe places to hide until I’m certain that I’m going to be okay.
Normally Golden Oldies does not take cats from outside Monterey County but they have a lot of foster homes ready and waiting and so I was able to get out of a cage and into a home! Yay!
All Golden Oldies cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, microchipped, FIV/FELV negative and have had a complete blood panel done.
If you would like to meet me, please fill out an adoption application.
