Hi, my name is Baxter … but my foster dad is going to re-name me, once he gets to know me, since this is only a name given to me while I was at an animal shelter.
I am a handsome, 11-pound, 6-year-old dude with lots of fluff and a big sweet personality.
I was found as a stray in Salinas, was not neutered and was suffering from a serious upper respiratory infection. Hitchcock Road Animal Services took me in, got me all better with lots of meds and then neutered me. Because the shelter had lots of animals, I was transferred to Golden Oldies Cat Rescue.
While at the shelter, I was always at the front of my kennel waiting to greet staff and showed them just how friendly I was, whenever I had the chance!
Now I am awaiting the next chapter in my life: a forever home.
I was introduced briefly to another cat at the shelter, and I was fine. It is unknown how I am with dogs or children.
Maybe you’d like to take me home and make me yours?
See videos below.
All Golden Oldies cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, microchipped, FIV/FELV negative and have had a complete blood panel done.
