Baxter is a very handsome 12-pound, 7-year-old orange dude with lots of fluff and a big sweet personality with people.
Surrendered to the county shelter shortly after Thanksgiving last year, with an upper respiratory infection, his future wasn’t looking very bright. GOCR was able to bring him into the Golden Oldies family just before Christmas. We were so happy when Baxter found a home soon after arriving into the Golden Oldies program; however he ultimately ended up not getting along with the resident cat in his new home.
Now Baxter is looking for his next new beginning where he can be your one and only cat. Baxter does have a chronic sniffle from his previous respiratory infection and is hoping you can look past that to give him a chance at happiness. He does not require any medication and his sniffle is not contagious to other pets. He may enjoy a home where he could have safe indoor/outdoor access, although he has been indoor only for the last year.
Are you lonely and a lover of fluffy pants? Baxter may just be your guy!
All Golden Oldies cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, microchipped, FIV/FELV negative and have had a complete blood panel done.
