Hi, my name is Arya. I am a beautiful, quiet, curious and sweet 6-year-old, 9 ½ pound calico.
I was found as a stray in San Jose with an eye ulcer. I was taken to the San Jose Animal Care Center, where my eye was treated. I waited for my people to reclaim me but they never did. My eye is all healed and I’m now in a Golden Oldies foster home. They have open foster homes and none of the local shelters needed help so they are assisting out-of-area cats. They wanted to get me out of the shelter since I was on the Special Needs Rescue List.
It may take me awhile to settle into a new home, but once I do I enjoy chin scratches and full body pets. I also love to be combed which helps to keep my luxurous locks free of tangles.
Guess what? I like to sleep under the covers just like you, make sure you have room for me under there.
Maybe you could open your heart and home to me? I promise I will make a good friend!
I am spayed, up to date on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, microchipped, FIV/FELV negative and have had a complete blood panel done.
Thank you to San Jose Animal Services for the GAP grant that will help with Arya’s medical care.
