Our Cat’s Meow 7th Anniversary Celebration was a great event! It’s hard to believe we’ve made this milestone. On June 16, 2016 we started with a handful of volunteers, no funding and the dream of making Monterey County a better and safer place for cats 6 and older. We now have more than 60 active volunteers, have saved the lives of more than 150 cats and are able to fund a $100,000-plus annual budget!
About 45 people attended the event. Miguel Vasquez, owner of Zucchini’s Tricks ‘N’ Things on Cannery Row, wowed the audience with his magic tricks. The silent auction was a huge success, and everyone enjoyed the food, camaraderie and a chance to celebrate 7 years!
